Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Accountant in Shipping and Freight

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the preparation and analysis of transportation costs, including accruals and financial performance analysis
• Develop accounting processes for new carriers and streamline analysis for meaningful insights
• Lead process optimization projects, control structures development, and champion financial datasets for reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience at a large accounting firm or with a large retail/eCommerce company
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; experience with SQL, Oracle Cloud, and Alteryx is a plus
• Detailed understanding of current GAAP standards
• Comfortable leading in ambiguity and thriving in a dynamic environment
