Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Legal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key partner to the global business, advising and leading to help assess and manage legal risk and compliance
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive legal compliance program across the company
• Oversee and manage various legal matters including corporate governance, contract negotiations, intellectual property, and employment issues

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California with a minimum of 15 years of legal experience
• Experience in corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, M&A, and SEC reporting
• Experience in high-growth or turnaround business settings, preferably in FoodTech, AgTech, or deep tech industries
• Experience leading legal projects aligned with company objectives and key results
• Experience attracting and developing talent
