Engineering Manager – Security SRE

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager – Security & SRE.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor security engineers and SREs, develop strategies for security and reliability, set performance metrics
• Oversee security measures, ensure compliance, conduct assessments, and develop security policies
• Manage service reliability, implement monitoring processes, optimize system performance, and drive operational improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in security engineering and/or SRE, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of security principles and technologies, reliability engineering practices, scripting and automation tools, cloud platforms, and container orchestration systems
