Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop melange packages within Wolfi and private repositories
• Produce Chainguard container images for public and private use
• Efficiently manage backlog of images, mentor team members, and ensure quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years in DevOps or Software Development, with 2 years in a senior-level role
• Strong expertise in Linux environments and distro package management
• Experience in containerization, Kubernetes, Terraform, and programming languages like Python, Go, or Bash
• Active in the open-source community and skilled in vulnerability management (preferred)
• Knowledge of FedRAMP framework and compliance requirements (preferred)
