Assessment Item Writer Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assessment Item Writer/Editor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently and collaboratively to create, review, edit, and revise test items based on standards
• Execute against blueprints to develop well-rounded assessments
• Meet internal and external deadlines for assessment development

Required Qualifications:

• Professional assessment writing and/or editing experience
• Strong understanding of assessment item composition and alignment with standards
• Ability to write assessment items for K-12 students with knowledge of academic standards
• Subject-matter expertise in ELA, math, science, or social studies
• Experience in education, with teaching experience being a plus
