Bioinformatics DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics DevOps Engineer/Developer – Advanced Molecular Detection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute whole-genome sequencing analysis and comparative genomic analysis
• Develop and manage databases for analysis
• Lead the development and implementation of a cloud computing architecture

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in a related field
• At least 5 years of practical experience in microbial and/or public health bioinformatics
• At least 2 years of experience with cloud computing
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language
• Experience with git/github and NCBI databases
