Method Validation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Laboratory Test Method Validation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the development and deployment of testing assays for the appropriate laboratory discipline
• Review/approve standard operating testing procedures prior to issuance for implementation to help ensure accuracy of testing
• Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory staff in performing laboratory techniques and procedures throughout the validation process

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Life Sciences or Public Health or similar Degree with a Minimum of FOUR (4) years of relevant experience
• Ability to independently analyze and evaluate laboratory test method data
• Experience with infectious disease laboratory techniques (including but not limited to: culture, PCR, NGS, Sanger sequencing, etc.)
• Experience designing and validating diagnostic laboratory methods
• Experience with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations
