Academic Designer Literacy Multilingual Learners

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Designer, Literacy/Multilingual Learners (MLL).

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and developing content for teacher and student materials
• Acting as a point of contact between vendors, internal teams, and Academic Design teams
• Staying up to date on emerging educational trends and research within the literacy field

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, literacy, linguistics, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in literacy curriculum development with a focus on K-6 literacy and English language development
• Teaching experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of industry content development practices and standards
• Experience with digital learning and authoring systems
