Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering for a remote/flexible position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
• Oversee design, construction, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and architectures
• Manage and grow a team of data engineers, architects, and analysts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 10+ years of data engineering, cloud software, or data science experience
• 5+ years of successful management experience
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Experience with Databricks platform is a plus
