Thermal-Hydraulics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Thermal-Hydraulics Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct systems level analysis using specific codes such as SAS4A/SASSYS-1, SAM, or GOTHIC
• Perform subchannel analysis using codes like Pronghorn-Subchannel, DASSH, or COBRA TF
• Contribute to methods development and code qualification for core thermal hydraulics

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in thermal-hydraulics analysis for nuclear reactor systems
• Proficiency in one or more of the mentioned analysis codes (SAS4A/SASSYS-1, RELAP, Pronghorn-Subchannel, DASSH, COBRA-TF) or similar
• Familiarity with methods development, code qualification, and verification/validation processes in nuclear thermal hydraulics
• Experience in collaborative team environments
