Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform exploratory data analysis to determine effective questions with given datasets
• Analyze code for improvement and review customer logs and database processes
• Develop reports, dashboards, and automate data quality checks

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Experience with ETL design and implementation, SQL, Python, and Shell scripting
• Familiarity with cloud and on-prem data warehouses, query optimization, and database performance tuning
• Knowledge of networking, IT infrastructure, and Agile methodology
• Experience with AWS databases, Kafka, Kubernetes, Glue, Django, Go, and Jira is a plus
