Specialist Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist, Data Engineer (Python, SQL)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical consultation on data product projects by analyzing requirements and leading in the design and implementation of data products
• Produce data models and flows for various client demands such as reporting, data feeds, and dashboard reporting
• Apply secure software engineering practices to ensure data and technology solutions are protected

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, business, statistics, math, or related field preferred
• Three to five years of relevant experience in data quality rules, data management, and software development
• Experience in data warehousing, statistical analysis, and Cloud technology
• Moderate to advanced skills in SQL, Python, Spark, and other programming languages
• One to three years’ experience in insurance/financial services industry knowledge is a plus
