A company is looking for an Observational Research Manager to generate real-world evidence supporting various business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage descriptive epidemiologic studies to characterize disease incidence and prevalence
- Conduct research projects analyzing medical claims, electronic health records, and observational cohort studies
- Prepare research reports and scientific manuscripts while staying updated on observational research developments
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of scientific experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of scientific experience, or an Associate’s degree with 8 years of scientific experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of scientific experience
- Doctorate in Epidemiology or a related field with high observational research content preferred
- Experience in cardiovascular disease and observational research study design and execution
- Experience with secondary data systems, including administrative claims and electronic medical records
- Experience in observational research project planning and management
