Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer in the Credit Card department.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new products and features on the platform as part of a small team
• Review code for correctness, style, and security concerns
• Support production software by addressing alerts and bug reports

Required Qualifications

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language (Scala, C++, or Typescript preferred)
• Ability to work closely across teams and manage dependencies
• Customer and product-focused mindset with a balance between speed and quality
• Experience or knowledge of the finance industry, payments, or trading systems is preferred
