Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Rails) to design, build, and maintain the server-side of their web application.

Key Responsibilities

• Build new features and maintain the existing application for incident response and alerting
• Participate in engineering ceremonies, code reviews, and customer feedback sessions
• Respond to critical production issues through a shared on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of backend software development experience in Go, Ruby on Rails, and/or React
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time in a remote/hybrid setting
• Self-starter capable of tackling challenging problems independently
• Passion for writing maintainable code and improving product quality
• Deep curiosity about customer needs and the product space
