Associate Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director of Engineering to lead a team of software engineers in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor software engineers across various domains and technologies
• Ensure software quality through best practices in testing and development
• Drive predictable delivery of the product roadmap in collaboration with product managers

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a management or team lead role
• Experience with at least two programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Go
• Familiarity with distributed systems, including microservices or service-oriented architecture
• Ability to contribute to application development, design, and architecture
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
