Compliance Officer – Consumer Default Management

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Officer – Consumer Default Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the compliance subject matter expert for assigned lines of business and regulations
• Partner with various teams to identify risks, develop assessments, and monitor compliance findings
• Assist in regulatory compliance exams and lead the development of compliance policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in financial services compliance or as a bank regulator
• Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, SCRA, FCRA, and bankruptcy laws
• Extensive knowledge of consumer collections, bankruptcy, recovery, and loss mitigation preferred
• In-depth knowledge of internal controls and compliance processes
