Data Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Infrastructure Engineer to join their Data Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain reliable and scalable big data systems
• Develop and implement strategies and automation for production data services
• Support a culture of quality through peer design and code reviews

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Backend Engineering with a focus on data storage
• Experience with data platform technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, OpenSearch, Kafka, Druid, and Trino
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure best practices, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Datadog
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery strategies in a cloud environment
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
