Director Investment Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Investment Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all aspects of investment accounting, reporting, and analysis for various investments
• Provide expertise in investment accounting to different business units and support strategic development
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting professionals and lead process improvement efforts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with CPA, CMA, MBA, or CFA preferred
• Experience in financial accounting, planning, and analysis in a changing environment
• Previous experience working with life insurance companies is preferred
