Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering, Knowledge Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Set strategic and technical direction for the Knowledge Platform, managing a team of Engineers and Scientists
• Design and develop pipelines and services for data extraction, alignment, normalization, and ingestion into the knowledge graph
• Develop AI-powered solutions for automating data quality assessments and updates to the knowledge graph

Required Qualifications

• M.S. in Computer Science; Ph.D. studies are a plus
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on algorithms and software design principles
• Proficiency in programming languages for data processing and AI, such as Python, Java, Scala, and C/C++
• Solid understanding of core data engineering concepts and workflows, including ETL pipelines and data cleansing
• Experience with cloud-native development and distributed systems
