Kubernetes Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Kubernetes/Azure Architect to lead the rearchitecting of their payment system to a cloud-native architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices-based architecture using Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure system performance and availability
• Mentor junior team members and drive the adoption of DevOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in rearchitecting large-scale monolithic applications to cloud-native architectures
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud, including serverless architectures and containers
• 3+ years of experience in the payment domain and with industry standards and security best practices
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
