Lead zLinux Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Administrator for zLinux.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day operations of customers’ Linux servers
• Implement and manage high availability configurations of Linux systems
• Analyze system performance and develop system tools to support IT and business operations

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10+ years experience with multiple Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of networking, storage, security, virtualization, clustering, and high availability concepts
• Experience with zVM and managing Zlinux systems through the 3270 console
• Experience with volume management software packages and account security management
• Solid troubleshooting skills and performance monitoring & tuning experience
