Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and innovate within its products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build microservices to implement new features or improve existing functionality
• Collaborate with platform teams to operate and troubleshoot production software systems
• Participate in peer reviews, design sessions, and business requirement gathering

Required Qualifications:

• Production development experience in Kotlin, Java, or Scala
• 5 or more years of software engineering experience, preferably in B2C platforms
• Experience with scalable and reliable microservice-based applications
• Familiarity with relational database-driven RESTful and/or GraphQL API design
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
