Senior Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to translate business objectives into technical requirements and implementation details
• Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and internal data projects
• Interface with application development teams to ensure data access, scalability, and durability are first order considerations

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience working with cloud native relational databases
• Expert level understanding of operating and scaling relational cloud databases
• Prociency in modern programming languages and their interfaces to databases
• Understanding of data architecture concepts such as data modeling, metadata, ETL/ELT, real-time streaming, data quality
• Experience with code management tools and DevOps tools
