Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a long-term, remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design reactor structures and components from requirements through final design
• Coordinate inputs and requirements from engineering and project teams to develop design solutions
• Present equipment and component design results for design reviews

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of eight years of equipment/component design experience
• Experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III
• Familiarity with finite element stress analysis and mechanical analysis tools, especially ANSYS
• Familiarity with CAD, with a preference for SolidWorks
