Senior Rails Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Rails Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop API endpoints and services that proxy requests to various applications
• Write code, develop tests, and debug systems while participating in architectural discussions
• Build APIs for digital services and ensure systems meet business needs through testing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Minimum of 3 years in an Agile software development environment
• Experience in a major open source language such as Ruby, Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript
• Understanding of web technologies including HTTP, SSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
• Bachelor’s Degree required
