Senior Software Developer – Remote

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Developer for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support automation, monitoring, and performance tuning of servers/software for an earthquake early warning system
• Provide weekly reports on project status, issues, concerns, and mitigation strategies
• Work with DevOps tools/technologies, Linux environment, and databases like MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 6-8 years of experience with programming/scripting languages and Linux OS
• Experience with Docker/Containers, Ansible, relational databases, and GitLab
• Solid grasp of math, physics, or geophysics
• Must be a US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States
