Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Engineering – R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Development: Collaborate with offshore partner, work on new platform development, refine add-on services, and assist with greenfield projects
• Team Coaching & Capability Assessment: Mentor the team, focusing on transitioning to a new tech stack
• Innovation & Culture Building: Contribute to team culture, collaborate with product team, and ensure products meet market demands

Required Qualifications:

• Languages: Proficiency in Java or JVM languages (Scala, Groovy, Kotlin, etc.)
• Architecture: Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), REST APIs, event-driven and domain-driven design
• Cloud: AWS experience including API Gateway, Cognito, ECS and Lambda
• Databases: Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Front-end: Experience with React and JavaScript is a plus
