Senior Software Engineer Cloud Data

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting public cloud platform databases using AWS RDS MySQL, Redis, and other cloud services
• Developing infrastructure automation with Terraform, Python, and Golang
• Managing production database alerts, investigating data layer issues, and leading FinOps for data storage systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent
• 5-8 years of MySQL database administration experience
• 3+ years of experience with AWS RDS MySQL services and strong knowledge of AWS services and security
• 3+ years of experience in Golang or Python programming and designing scalable database schemas
• 3+ years of experience working with private and public clouds and capacity management principles
