Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead and evolve their engineering discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and document best practices and methodologies for engineering delivery
• Provide hands-on technical oversight and ensure solutions are architecturally sound and scalable
• Manage team performance, including recruitment, coaching, and development of staff

Required Qualifications and Education

• 5+ years of management experience leading teams of 7+ engineers
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Big Data solutions on Azure
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban development methodologies
